Vi's prepaid listing has no 14-day calling plan. As PlanPick read it on 4 October 2026, the shortest Vi recharge plan with unlimited calls that lasts more than a day is ₹140 for 15 days, and it comes with no data. If you were looking for a Vi recharge plan for 14 days, that is the closest calling plan on sale. The rest of this post goes through what Vi does sell, from 15 days to 365, by what each plan costs per day.
Every figure below is the price divided by the validity in days, rounded to two decimals. How cost per day works explains why that number beats the sticker price, so this post only applies it to Vi. Any of these prices may have moved since 4 October. Pick your circle in the header of PlanPick's Vi page for local prices.
Cheapest Vi recharge plan at each validity
These are the cheapest plans with unlimited calls at eight validities. At 84 and 365 days the cheapest plan carries no data, so the cheapest one that does is listed under it. The data column is the total for the whole validity, not a daily amount.
| Validity | Plan | Cost per day | Data in total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 days | ₹140 | ₹9.33 | None |
| 24 days | ₹179 | ₹7.46 | 1 GB |
| 26 days | ₹189 | ₹7.27 | 1 GB |
| 28 days | ₹199 | ₹7.11 | 2 GB |
| 56 days | ₹369 | ₹6.59 | 4 GB |
| 84 days | ₹470 | ₹5.60 | None |
| 84 days | ₹548 | ₹6.52 | 7 GB |
| 180 days | ₹1,149 | ₹6.38 | 15 GB |
| 365 days | ₹1,849 | ₹5.07 | None |
| 365 days | ₹2,249 | ₹6.16 | 30 GB |
The cheapest per day in this table is the ₹1,849 annual plan at ₹5.07, with no data at all. The cheapest one with data is the ₹2,249 annual at ₹6.16. Its 30 GB has to last the year, which works out to about 0.08 GB a day, so it fits a phone that lives on Wi-Fi.
If you use mobile data every day, none of these is the right comparison. Skip to the 1.5 GB a day section below. To set the same validities against Jio, Airtel and BSNL, sort all plans by cost per day.
What to do about 14 days
The ₹140 15-day plan lists unlimited calls and nothing else: no data and no SMS. At ₹9.33 a day it is the most expensive plan in the table above.
The ₹95 14-day pack is the only 14-day entry on the listing that is not an international roaming pack. It is a data pack. The listing gives it 4 GB and a SonyLIV mobile offer, and no calls.
For two weeks of calls, the 28-day ₹199 plan costs ₹59 more than the ₹140 one and runs 13 days longer. It adds 2 GB and 300 SMS as well. Per day, that is ₹7.11 against ₹9.33.
24, 26 or 28 days
Vi's three shortest monthly plans get cheaper per day as the validity grows: ₹7.46 for 24 days, ₹7.27 for 26 and ₹7.11 for 28. The price goes up by ₹10 at each step, and the ₹199 plan doubles the data from 1 GB to 2 GB. Unless you need your recharge to end on a particular date, the 28-day plan is the one to buy.
84 days or a full year, on calls alone
For a number you use only for calls, compare two plans. Four recharges of the ₹470 84-day plan cost ₹1,880 and cover 336 days. One ₹1,849 annual plan covers 365 days and costs ₹31 less. The ₹470 plan carries 900 SMS for its 84 days; the annual one carries 3,600 for the year.
1.5 GB a day, 28 to 180 days
Like-for-like comparison is easiest when the daily data is the same. The table has the cheapest Vi plan at 1.5 GB a day for each validity the listing offers it at. All six come with unlimited calls and 100 SMS a day.
| Validity | Plan | Cost per day | Data in total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 28 days | ₹349 | ₹12.46 | 42 GB |
| 56 days | ₹579 | ₹10.34 | 84 GB |
| 64 days | ₹666 | ₹10.41 | 96 GB |
| 77 days | ₹799 | ₹10.38 | 115.5 GB |
| 84 days | ₹859 | ₹10.23 | 126 GB |
| 180 days | ₹1,749 | ₹9.72 | 270 GB |
Three ₹349 recharges cost ₹1,047 for 84 days. The ₹859 plan covers the same 84 days for ₹188 less. The line is not perfectly straight, though. The 64-day and 77-day plans cost a few paise more per day than the 56-day one.
Every plan in this table except the ₹859 lists unlimited 5G data. If you have 5G where you live and use it, the 56-day ₹579 is only 11 paise a day dearer than the ₹859.
Unlimited data, 28 days to a year
The plans whose listing says "Unlimited 5G & 4G Data" get cheaper per day at every step up in validity. Here is the cheapest at each validity, all with unlimited calls and 100 SMS a day.
| Validity | Plan | Cost per day |
|---|---|---|
| 28 days | ₹398 | ₹14.21 |
| 48 days | ₹650 | ₹13.54 |
| 56 days | ₹739 | ₹13.20 |
| 72 days | ₹949 | ₹13.18 |
| 84 days | ₹1,099 | ₹13.08 |
| 150 days | ₹1,879 | ₹12.53 |
| 180 days | ₹2,248 | ₹12.49 |
| 290 days | ₹3,399 | ₹11.72 |
| 365 days | ₹4,099 | ₹11.23 |
Vi does some of this arithmetic itself. Its listing prints "₹370 / 28 Days" next to the ₹739 plan, "₹366 / 28 Days" next to the ₹1,099 and "₹350 / 28 Days" next to the ₹2,248.
Thirteen ₹398 recharges cost ₹5,174 and cover 364 days. The ₹4,099 annual plan covers 365 days for ₹1,075 less.
Vi annual recharge plans, 365 days
Vi lists eight annual plans with unlimited calls. They run from ₹5.07 to ₹13.70 a day, and the difference is mostly data and bundled subscriptions.
| Plan | Cost per day | Data | Also listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₹1,849 | ₹5.07 | None | 3,600 SMS for the year |
| ₹2,249 | ₹6.16 | 30 GB for the year | 3,600 SMS for the year |
| ₹3,599 | ₹9.86 | Not confirmed | Unlimited 5G data, unlimited data 12am to 12pm, weekend data rollover |
| ₹3,699 | ₹10.13 | Not confirmed | Unlimited data 12am to 12pm, JioHotstar Mobile |
| ₹3,799 | ₹10.41 | Not confirmed | Unlimited data 12am to 12pm, Amazon Prime Lite |
| ₹3,999 | ₹10.96 | Not confirmed | Unlimited data 12am to 12pm, a year of JioHotstar mobile and of Amazon Prime Lite |
| ₹4,099 | ₹11.23 | Unlimited 5G and 4G | Nothing beyond the roaming benefit |
| ₹4,999 | ₹13.70 | Not confirmed | Unlimited data 12am to 12pm, SonyLIV, JioHotstar and 18 more OTTs, Amazon Prime Lite |
Every annual plan from ₹3,599 up also lists free international roaming benefits and 100 SMS a day. The listing does not say what the roaming benefit covers.
The "Not confirmed" rows are a gap in PlanPick's copy of the listing. It recorded the data on those five as a single small figure, and we could not confirm the real allowance from it. Check it on Vi's prepaid plans page before you pay.
Vi's listing also shows a ₹2,997 entry with 365 days. That is an international roaming pack, not a recharge plan, so it is left out here.
Where the longer plan costs more
At 2 GB a day, the 56-day ₹649 plan costs ₹11.59 a day and the 84-day ₹998 plan costs ₹11.88. Both list unlimited data from 12am to 12pm. The ₹998 adds a SonyLIV subscription and unlimited 5G data, and the ₹649 lists weekend data rollover instead. If you would not watch SonyLIV, three ₹649 recharges cover 168 days for ₹1,947, and two ₹998 recharges cover the same 168 days for ₹1,996.
