About PlanPick

What this is

PlanPick compares prepaid recharge plans across Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL, and does the per-day and per-GB arithmetic for you. It tracks 305 plans right now. It is free, has no ads, and asks for no signup.

Where the data comes from

Plans are read directly from each operator's own website by an automated scraper that runs daily. Where an independent aggregator lists a plan we did not find, or disagrees on a price, that plan is flagged and checked by a human before it appears here. Last updated 20 Sept 2026.

BSNL is refreshed by hand rather than daily, because its site does not respond to the automated run. Every plan page shows its own last-checked date.

How the value score works

Each plan gets a 0–100 score, normalised across the current catalogue and weighted: cost per day 40%, data per rupee 30%, validity 15%, and extra benefits 15%. It is a starting point for comparison, not a verdict — a plan that scores lower may still suit you better.

Accuracy

Operators change prices without notice and some plans vary by circle. Always confirm the final price on the operator's own page before you recharge — every plan page links straight to it. If you spot something wrong, the source data is public.
